Two men arrested for sexually assaulting minor girl in northwest Delhi | Delhi News

New Delhi: Police have arrested two men for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in north-west Delhi’s Samaypur Badli.The incident came to light on Dec 20 after a PCR call from Raja Vihar alerted police that a young girl had allegedly been forced to consume alcohol. A team from Samaypur Badli police station initiated an inquiry.During the investigation, the survivor was medically examined, and her statement recorded, which indicated sexual assault, DCP (outer north) Hareshwar V Swami said.Police identified the accused as Narottam alias Neta (28), who runs a barber shop in Raja Vihar and Rishabh (26), a bank employee. Investigators said Narottam introduced the survivor to Rishabh, and the two allegedly took the girl to a vacant house belonging to Narottam on Dec 20. The accused then allegedly coerced the girl into consuming alcohol and sexually assaulted her, DCP Swami added.A case has been registered on Dec 21 at Samaypur Badli police station.
