MUMBAI: The air quality in Mumbai this morning was categorized as ‘moderate’ with an air quality index of 127, according to the Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research system, Safar-India. Last Tuesday, the air quality in Mumbai was also in the ‘moderate’ category, with an air quality index of 115. Previously, the air quality in Mumbai was classified as ‘good’.
However, due to a rise in temperature, with daily maximum temperatures ranging from 32 to 34 degrees Celsius for a week, the air quality has slipped into the moderate category.
