MNS MLA warns Kalyan-Dombivli civic body against hawkers near railway station | Thane News

KALYAN: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) MLA Pramod Patil on Wednesday warned the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) to remove hawkers from outside Dombivli station on Wednesday.
Patil along with his supporters reached the railway station to remove the hawkers. However, before Patil reached at the station area, the hawkers had fled.
Dombivli city usually witnesses crowds near the station and illegal hawkers sitting there double up the problem by blocking the path due to which the public has to face a lot of inconvenience.
If any hawker gets pushed by mistake, they beat up common people. This is the reason that there is a lot of anger among the against these hawkers.
MNS MLA had recently met to KDMC commissioner Dr Bhausaheb Dangade demanding him to remove hawkers within 15 days from Dombivli station area.
However on Tuesday, when MNS’s deadline ended, Patil along with his supporters visited the station area with an intention to remove hawkers but by then the hawkers fled from the area.
The KDMC officials also reached at spot. Patil warned them to remove hawkers or else he will expose who takes Rs 3 lakh bribe from hawkers.
