Emergency services, including the fire brigade and police, have rushed to the scene. Mehta raised similar concerns, noting that the forest is about 3km away and that this is a busy part of the city, always crowded with traffic and people, prompting the question of how the leopard reached here. He added that the fire brigade team displayed courage by rescuing the family after the leopard entered the house. The big cat is currently trapped inside one home, and efforts are underway to rescue it.The leopard was caught at 3.00pm.
