KALYAN: The Kalyan crime unit of Thane police arrested a 28-year-old under attempt to murder charges on Thursday for shooting his 19-year-old friend a day before.
The police have arrested Umesh Khanvilkar (28) from Shahad railway station when he was trying to escape towards Mumbai. Khanvilkar misfired a bullet which hit Sushil Mahanto (19) on Wednesday. TNN
