Pooja was employed at a property dealer’s office in southeast Delhi and resided with her parents and younger brother in Ekta Vihar Extension.
Pooja’s brother Manoj said, “She was playing with the kids outside the house before being attacked by a person who arrived on a motorcycle. I was present in the house along with my mother. As soon as Pooja entered the house, the man opened fire on her.”
Manoj attempted to pursue the assailant, but he brandished the weapon, threatening his life as well.
The attacker fled the scene, leaving behind an unregistered motorcycle. The police have identified the suspect, and multiple teams are working to arrest him.
