NEW DELHI: The water supply in several areas of South Delhi, including Kalkaji, Okhla, Lajpat Nagar, Maharani Bagh, East of Kailash, is likely to be affected on 4-5 October as repair work is to be carried out at the Wazirabad water treatment plant.
“Residents are advised to store sufficient quantities of water in advance as per requirement. Water tankers will be available on request” stated an alert issued by DJB on Monday.
According to DJB, no evening supply of water will be available in Kalindi Colony, New Friends Colony, Ishwar Nagar, Sukhdev Vihar, Zakir Nagar and adjoining areas on October 4. The ESI area will also be affected on October 5, where there will be no morning water supply.
