Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon: Highlighting importance of balanced diet through a cookout | Delhi News



In anticipation of the 18th edition of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, International Ambassador Ashton Eaton, a two-time Olympic Champion, recently embarked on a unique pre-race experience. A pasta cookout was held at Le Meridien in Central Delhi, where Ashton was joined by Priya Agarwal Hebbar, the Non-Executive Director of Vedanta and Chairperson of Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Akarsh Hebbar, MD Vedanta along with Bollywood actress Gul Panag.
Ashton Eaton was in New Delhi as the International Ambassador for the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon. The event aims to promote health, fitness, and the spirit of running, making it an unmissable occasion for both professional and amateur athletes. Ashton, Priya, and Gul immersed themselves in the culinary experience, showcasing their culinary skills and camaraderie while preparing and savoring pasta. The event not only celebrated the upcoming marathon but also emphasized the importance of a balanced lifestyle, which includes both fitness and a love for food.
With more than 35,000 runners participating in the half marathon, including renowned athletes like Kartik Kumar and Sanjeevini Jadhav, the event was a grand spectacle. International elite athletes such as Chala Regasa, Daniel Ebenyo, Leonard Barsoton, Vivian Cheruiyot, Almaz Ayana, and Mare Dibaba, were also part of the marathon, adding a global dimension to the event.
