KALYAN: A truck driver was stabbed to death by unidentified people while he was checking tyre near Durgadi chowk in Kalyan, on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Bhola Kumar Mato (24).
The incident took place when Mato was coming from Bhiwandi side towards Kalyan. He was stabbed by two people who came on motorcycle, said police.
Sarjerao Patil, senior police inspector of Khadakpada police station said, “We have registered an offence and CCTV footages from surrounding areas are being checked to nab the accused.”
