PM Narendra Modi fulfilling dreams of Bal Thackeray: Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde | Thane News

KALYAN: While participating in the Navratri program organized by his son Shrikant Shinde in Thane’s Dombivli on Monday night, Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde said that the Ram temple in Ayodhya will be ready soon, after which everyone will be able to get darshan of Lord Ram.
Shinde said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fulfilling the dream of Bal Thackeray who also wanted the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
While targeting the erstwhile Mahavikas Aghadi government, Shinde said that the erstwhile govt had imposed many restrictions on festivals, whereas his government removed all the restrictions as soon as they come to power.
The CM added that earlier people could play garba only till midnight only on one day during Navratri, whereas, this year, they have given permission to play garba till midnight for three days.
Before coming to Dombivli, CM Shinde went to the historical Durgadi Fort in Kalyan where he offered prayers to goddess Durga and performed aarti. Speaking to the media, Shinde said that Rs 7.5 crore was allocated by the government for the repairing of the fort and the temple. He added, if needed, more funds would be given.
