Chennai: BJP’s new working president, Nitin Nabin will be visiting Puducherry for a party programme on Dec 21, his first official trip after the elevation. TN leaders will receive him at Chennai airport before his onward journey, R N Jayaprakash, vice-president of TN BJP, told reporters here on Thursday.BJP Puducherry president V P Ramalingam said Nabin would meet Puducherry chief minister N Rangaswamy during the visit. Nabin would also participate in organisational programmes involving senior leaders and party workers during the visit. Ramalingam said the scheduled visit has helped clear doubts among a section of BJP functionaries about the future of party’s alliance with Rangasamy-led AINRC. TNN
