THANE: The Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) have launched a hunt to search for a 65-year-old mentally unstable man who jumped into Mumbra creek.
Yasin Tadvi, the head of RDMc said that they received an alert about the incident at around 1 pm, from the son of the man. Immediately after which, the fire fighters as well as RDMC went to the spot with rescue vehicles, and two boats, to conduct the search operation but called it off due to high tide.
Later at around 5pm, the search operation was again launched but failed to locate him.
