NEW DELHI: A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death allegedly by his friends in outer north Delhi’s Narela area.
According to the police, an altercation occurred between the deceased and his friends on the night spanning Thursday and Friday when the victim, identified as Gulshan, was ambushed by three of his acquaintances armed with a knife and sharp-edged weapons as he was heading home.
A purported CCTV recording of the incident has surfaced on social media, revealing a group of men attacking Gulshan.
Gulshan sustained multiple injuries and was taken to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead, as confirmed by the police.
While the exact cause of the dispute is yet to be determined, it has been reported that Gulshan and his friends had engaged in an argument while enjoying momos from a street vendor.
Law enforcement has registered a murder case and has mobilized teams to apprehend the individuals responsible for the tragic incident.
Gulshan was employed at a cosmetic shop in the Sadar Bazar area and resided with his family in Gautam Colony in Narela.
