GDP growth for FY 2023–24 is projected to be at 6.5 percent: RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das | Business

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das told that the economic activity remains resilient, and hence the real GDP growth for 23-24 is projected to be at 6.5 percent. RBI Governor said “GDP growth for 23-24 is projected to be at 6.5 percent with Q1 at 7.8%, Q2 at 6.2%, Q3 at 6.1%, and Q4 at 5.9%. The risks are evenly balanced. The Reserve Bank of India’s monetary policy committee (MPC) on Thursday also decided to keep the repo rate unchanged at 6.5%, Repo rate is the rate at which the RBI lends to other banks.
