In an earlier interview with us, Harshdeep spoke about Delhi’s influence on her music. “Delhi ka jo culture hai, it has people from different regions who come here to begin their careers. It is this mixed culture that has taught me a lot. Meri Hindi achhi hone ki wajah se mujhe mere singing career mein bahut help hui hai. In Bombay, people notice your diction and pronunciation, and being from Delhi has helped me a lot in that,” she told us.
The singer had also spoken about Delhi weddings. “Delhi weddings are lavish and people here like to spend money. Bahut emotional moments bhi hote hain weddings pe. I am a very simple and homely person so even on stage, I am very simple. The women especially treat me like their daughter and woh aake jhappian dalti hain, pappiyan deti hain. And when I sing an emotional song, they all start crying,” she shared with us in 2019.
