NEW DELHI: The city saw a slight drop in maximum temperature and low wind speed on Saturday. The air quality was ‘poor’ despite the number of stubble burning incidents dropping in Punjab.
Residents found the outdoor weather unpleasant even towards the evening.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature was 35.5 degrees Celsius, and the minimum was 20.9 degrees. With clear skies, the maximum and minimum temperatures on Sunday are likely to hover around 36 and 22 degrees Celsius.
The air quality in in Shadipur, Wazirpur, Mundka and Bawana was ‘very poor’. Environment minister Gopal Rai visited Wazirpur to ensure GRA measures were carried out. Under the anti-dust campaign, 591 teams have been deployed for inspection.
