NEW DELHI: A bus helper was allegedly shot dead by a conductor in southeast Delhi’s Sunlight Colony on Thursday. Cops have arrested two men in the case, including the bus driver who helped the accused hide the pistol.
The deceased was identified as Roop Singh Yadav. Two men, Amit Pateria (helper) and Azad Khan (driver), have been arrested in the case.
After shooting Yadav, Pateria made a PCR call to the police that someone had shot the victim. “When a team went to the bus, they found the body lying in driver’s cabin. Pateria said that they were going towards Kashmere Gate from Sarai Kale Khan in the bus when the victim was shot by someone from outside,” police said.
