VIRUDHUNAGAR: CPM members on Tuesday held a black flag protest in front of the Rajapalayam Gandhi statue in Virudhunagar district condemning the visit of Tamil Nadu governor R N Ravi.
The governor arrived in Virudhunagar on Friday night to attend the golden jubilee celebration of Rajapalayam Rajus’ College on Saturday. Before heading to Rajapalayam, the governor visited the Sri Andal Temple at Srivilliputhur.

Police detained around 80 CPM members.
