CHENNAI: The Avadi Municipal Corporation on Tuesday launched a waste cleaning drive under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
The corporation will cover all the 48 wards during the drive.
The drive was launched by Swachh Bharat Mission state director Sivarasu and Avadi Corporation commissioner Tharpagaraj.
Sanitary workers will identify spots where garbage corners have been created and also spots where monitoring does not take place.
