CHENNAI: The Greater Chennai Corporation has repaired 252 out of 285 roads in Madipakkam that were dug up by Chennai Metropolitan and Sewerage Supply Board.
Out of the 55.3 km of road stretch dug up, 16.4 km of roads have been fixed so far, said city corporation commissioner Dr J Radhakrishnan, who on Wednesday returned for inspections after being down with dengue.
He said 106 roads got a blacktopping while concrete has been applied on 124 roads. Wet mix macadam was applied on 22 roads. The remaining 33 roads were being fixed, he said.
